Karatenomichi World Federation India (KWF India) is a direct affiliate of the elite International budo karate organisation the “KWF” headed by Grand master Mikio Yahara – a legend in the art of Shotokan karate who has set a new benchmark of Budo (“Bu”meaning Martial and “Do” meaning way) through his extremely refined, powerful and scientifically proven karate techniques and training methodology.
The National headquarter of KWF India is based in Mumbai, functioning under the leadership of its Leader, Chief Instructor & CEO Mr. Sachin Chavan, a member of the KWF International Masters Technical Committee – “Shihankai”. He holds a 6th Degree Black Belt from KWF Japan and a 7th Dan Black Belt in the World Karate Federation (WKF) recognized by the International Olympic Committee (IOC). He is an Asian Karate Federation qualified Judge.
Shihan Sachin Chavan is a man with diverse knowledge and expertise in the art & science of Shotokan Karate. In his 35 years of journey in the Japanese Martial art, he has trained under the legends of karat
like Grandmaster Mikio Yahara, Shihan Akihito Isaka, Shihan Sakae Ibusuki, Shihan Masahiko Tanaka, Shihan Toru Arakawa, Shihan Imura Takenori, Shihan Tomio Imamura, Shihan Katsutoshi Shiina, Shihan Soichi Sasaki, Shihan Malcolm Dorfman, Shihan Seiji Nishimura, Sensei Yoshtaka, Sensei Nishitoba, Sensei Katsutaka Tanaka, Sensei Shinichi Okada, Sensei Kawasaki Norio and many more respected personalities in the art of karate.
